Exhibition Design Visual Identity Design

Toronto / Mirvish Village is a development-in-progress—a complete community, comprising retail, purpose-built rental units, a daycare, a food hall and more, set on the former Honest Ed's site in Toronto. WE is collaborating closely with Westbank to bring Mirvish Village to life in the years leading to its completion. Westbank engaged Whitman Emorson in early 2017 to translate the findings and insights attained through more than two years of community consultation into a vision for construction hoarding. WE worked with a curator and several artists to deliver the project, which applies the ethos of a fine art exhibition to construction hoarding. WE is presently working on the Mirvish Village visual identity, and a range of applications, including signage and wayfinding, marketing materials and more.
